Overview
- Dientamoeba fragilis, a pathogen, although classified as a flagellate will be covered in this section because
it more closely resembles an amoeba.
- Endolimax nana is by far the most common parasite to infect man. It is not considered pathogenic.
- Iodamoeba buetschlii is also considered a non-pathogen at this time.
